Configuration Analyst responsible for planning and implementing configuration management (CM) and Data Management (DM) processes on programs in accordance with established CM practices based on EIA/649 and customer contract requirements. This role involves planning and coordination of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications, and schedules, to ensure customer contract requirements are met. The analyst will review contracts, analyze proposed changes, coordinate modification records, and establish change orders. The primary tool used is Siemens TeamCenter.

What you'd actually do

  1. The Configuration Analyst is responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive configuration management (CM) and Data Management (DM) process on programs in accordance with established CM practices that are based on EIA/649 and customer contract requirements.
  2. Job emphasis is placed on planning and coordination of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met.
  3. Reviews contracts to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
  4. Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.
  5. Coordinates modification records for management control.

Skills

Required

  • Experience in configuration management
  • Experience with Teamcenter
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance

Nice to have

  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience with Teamcenter MPLM
  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Configuration Management certification from NDIA, CMPIC, or CMII organization
  • Experience and understanding of ASME Y14.100 and ASME Y14.5M -1994 or later
