Connected Vehicle Launch Quality Lead

Ford Ford · Auto · Dearborn, MI +1 · Ford Next Businesses

This role focuses on leveraging connected vehicle data and advanced analytics to identify and resolve Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) during new vehicle launches. The lead will manage cross-functional teams to address issues in critical subsystems like Infotainment, Body Control Modules, and ADAS, aiming to reduce costs and improve the customer experience. The role also involves driving the development of automated detection tools and analytics dashboards.

What you'd actually do

  1. Extract and analyze information from connected vehicle data streams to identify early-stage DTCs and performance anomalies during new vehicle launches.
  2. Lead specialized investigations into IVI, BCM, and ADAS performance, using domain knowledge to differentiate between software interactions, hardware failures, and calibration issues.
  3. Manage cross-functional quality investigations, ensuring that emerging issues are tracked, root-caused, and resolved by the proper Product Development teams.
  4. Synthesize complex data into clear insights for leadership, focusing on the impact to enterprise Cost and Quality metrics.
  5. Drive the development of automated detection tools and analytics dashboards to improve the "speed to detection" for vehicle health issues.
