Connectivity Engineer

This role focuses on designing, maintaining, and implementing connectivity solutions for defense technology products, including aircraft, ground systems, and UAVs. Responsibilities include architecting network solutions, calculating link budgets, designing network laydowns, sourcing equipment, and overseeing network implementation. The role requires experience in RF or network engineering and external technical communication.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work with Anduril’s customers and their networking engineers to architect connectivity solutions
  2. Calculate RF link budgets, assess risk of lost links and commensurate fallback solutions, and present such findings to operations and engineering teams
  3. Design and maintain complex network laydowns for ground-based air defense systems, force protection sensor suites, UAVs, and space systems
  4. Source, evaluate, and maintain networking equipment and services
  5. Oversee network implementation and execution during demonstration events and production site bring-ups

What the JD emphasized

  • 2+ years of experience in RF or network engineering with understanding of Layer 3 network design
  • Experience with externally-facing technical communication
