Connectivity Partnerships Director

This role is responsible for managing relationships with connectivity partners in the airline industry, maximizing partnership revenue, and developing airline connectivity strategy. It requires account management, sales orientation, and experience in airline distribution or working with connectivity partners like GDS and content aggregators. The role involves developing growth strategies, uncovering opportunities to improve commercial relationships, and interfacing between partners and internal teams to ensure a good traveler experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage your partnership portfolio like a business: develop and execute growth strategies; track and monitor performance; and complete analysis to identify areas of risk and opportunity
  2. Understand the products and services offered by each partner, and create specific initiatives to support Capital One Travel’s overall strategy and direction
  3. Uncover opportunities to improve commercial relationships; summarize and articulate to internal teams, and develop the strategic plan to execute, in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  4. Organize, schedule and conduct regular calls with each partner, and in-person business and product reviews
  5. Work with financial teams on forecast and revenue projections for partnerships

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
  • At least 6 years of Business Development, Partnerships, or Relationship Management experience
  • At least 5 years experience in a customer-facing role in an organizational or entrepreneurial setting
