This role focuses on performing complex analysis for consumer products, aiming to improve portfolio risk, profitability, forecasting, and operational performance. It involves leading analytical product development, setting the vision for data-driven decisioning, and owning the analytics roadmap. The role requires leveraging tools like PowerShell, JavaScript, Alteryx, Python, SQL, and Tableau to design automation, drive performance, and guide strategy, while partnering with Product Management and ensuring adherence to reporting standards, controls, and enterprise governance. It also involves acting as a thought leader and coach.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and own part of the analytics strategy and roadmap; align priorities to business outcomes and risk appetite.
  2. Establish and champion data governance, quality, and control frameworks; ensure audit readiness and model risk considerations are embedded in solutions.
  3. Lead the design, development, and operational ownership of reporting suites and dashboards; drive standardization across team.
  4. Performs complex analysis of operational data, staffing data, financial data, and portfolio trends to improve portfolio risk, profitability, forecasting accuracy, and operational performance and socializes insights with executive-ready narratives.
  5. Serve as the primary analytics liaison to Product Management and senior leadership; influence outcomes through data-backed storytelling.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years in Data Analytics, Process/Project Management or a similar role in the financial services industry
