This role is for a Construction Commodity Manager at Intel, responsible for managing construction contracts and supply chain strategies. The position involves sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and relationship management with suppliers and internal stakeholders across design, finance, legal, and construction teams. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 6+ years of experience in supply chain, contracts management, or construction project management.

What you'd actually do

  1. Source and qualify new and existing key suppliers to enable the execution of the work
  2. Develop and present rationale for construction contracting and compensation strategies. Participate in the development and execution of contracts used to procure design construction and other related services
  3. Understand market conditions and use that knowledge in sourcing strategies
  4. Role model standard business processes and ensure compliance with corporate fiscal legal environmental and risk management policies to limit corporate liability. Learn and use procurement systems necessary to support project procurement operations. Review and update working procedures documents and systems to keep pace with project requirements, competition, and market innovation
  5. Maintain performance metrics to measure the performance of the teams responsible for cost savings, on-time and quality performance

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Construction Contracts Management or any related field
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain management contracts management or construction project management
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Working knowledge of project management skills and methods
  • Excellent data analytical skills
