Crusoe · Data AI · Amarillo, TX - US · Digital Infrastructure Group (DIG)

This role is for an OFCI Manager responsible for the end-to-end delivery and integration of Owner-Furnished Contractor-Installed equipment for hyperscale data center campuses. The role involves managing the lifecycle of critical assets, strategic logistics, technical coordination, QA/QC, stakeholder alignment, modular system integration, risk mitigation, and operational handoff. The ideal candidate has experience in mission-critical data center or heavy industrial construction, deep technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, and proficiency with construction management tools.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lifecycle Equipment Ownership: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of critical OFCI assets, overseeing everything from initial factory testing through final onsite installation, startup, and commissioning.
  2. Strategic Logistics Management: Track procurement milestones and delivery schedules using a Master Equipment Log and JIT strategies to ensure zero impact on the construction critical path.
  3. Technical Coordination: Review submittments and BIM coordination files to validate equipment footprints, weights, clearances, and connection points, ensuring perfect integration with the building's shell.
  4. QA/QC & Inspections: Lead onsite receiving, rigorous inspections, and damage assessments, while verifying all technical documentation and spare parts are accounted for upon arrival.
  5. Stakeholder & Vendor Alignment: Act as the central point of contact for equipment vendors and MEP trades, facilitating seamless communication from factory testing through Level 3 and Level 4 commissioning.
