Microsoft is looking for a Construction Workforce Infrastructure Manager to lead the strategy for workforce accommodations and labor logistics for large-scale data center development in Pecos, Texas. This role involves building operating models, establishing scalable processes, and managing stakeholder relationships to support thousands of construction workers. The position is on-site in Pecos, TX, and offers opportunities for broader construction project leadership.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead workforce infrastructure planning and execution to support large-scale data center construction programs in remote and rapidly developing locations.
  2. Serve as Microsoft's primary liaison with General Contractors, workforce housing providers, municipalities, and external stakeholders responsible for delivering accommodations and support services for construction personnel.
  3. Develop and implement workforce accommodation strategies, including employee housing, transportation logistics, site services, and supporting infrastructure required to sustain a large-scale construction workforce.
  4. Establish operational processes, governance frameworks, and scalable standards for labor force mobilization, accommodation, and workforce support that can be leveraged across future Microsoft construction projects.
  5. Coordinate complex stakeholder relationships across contractors, logistics partners, local governments, utility providers, and community organizations to ensure workforce readiness and project execution success.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 10+ years related experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years related experience OR equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years experience working on data center projects.
