Consultant – Accelsior Suite

Consultant role focused on implementing and enhancing Deloitte's Accelsior Suite of technology products for finance and reporting clients. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, configuring products, supporting testing, and building reports/dashboards. The role involves client interaction and collaboration with technical teams to streamline operations and improve financial processes.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support clients to streamline operations, automate tasks, and improve processes across finance, regulatory reporting, fund accounting, and operations
  2. Gather, document, and validate client requirements; translate needs into user stories and configuration specifications
  3. Assist in designing reporting and data/infrastructure solutions; document assumptions, dependencies, and timelines
  4. Configure products to meet requirements; support testing, defect triage, and release readiness with technical teams
  5. Build and maintain reports and dashboards using market-leading business intelligence tools

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in consulting, implementation, or finance/operations roles with exposure to automation, calculations, and/or modeling
  • Interest in combining technology, finance/accounting, and client service
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working in client-facing environments

Nice to have

  • Understanding of the alternative investment industry
  • Experience with databases and financial/accounting systems
  • Comfort with data models and reconciliations
  • Experience working across multiple projects/teams under tight timelines
  • Exposure to borrowing base calculations
