This role focuses on analyzing advertiser performance on Amazon, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and unlock business opportunities. It involves working with sales, product, and retail teams, and leveraging Amazon's unique data to enhance marketing decision-making for advertisers.

What you'd actually do

  1. Deliver insights for some of the world’s largest advertisers to drive their businesses forward.
  2. Be an analytical consultant for advertisers, by providing relevant insights that will be incorporated into upfront strategy discussions and negotiations.
  3. Advance relationships with senior marketing decision makers (e.g. senior director, c-level) and establish oneself as go-to expert in at least one advanced analytical area of advertising.
  4. Develop great expertise in Amazon’s proprietary metrics, working to constantly evolve how we analyze and communicate data-driven insights to our advertisers.
  5. Drive decisions that increase the ease of use and availability of data to both internal teams and external partners. Conduct analyses which leverage previously untapped datasets.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
  • Knowledge of the primary aws services (ec2, elb, rds, route53 & s3)
  • Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
  • Knowledge of SQL or Python
  • Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning or equivalent quantitative field, or experience in defining and creating benchmarks for assessing GenAI model performance

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of IT implementation experience
  • degree in advanced technology, or AWS Professional level certification
