Consultant - Cloud Architect

Consultant - Cloud Architect role focused on cloud security strategy, architecture, implementation, and operations across major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud). Responsibilities include supporting cyber engagements, assessing and designing security solutions, implementing security technologies (CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, IAM, DevSecOps), and contributing to practice development. Requires experience in cloud security, cybersecurity, or technology consulting, with a strong understanding of cloud security architecture and controls.

What you'd actually do

  1. Supporting cloud cyber risk engagements across assessment, design, implementation, and post-implementation activities for client environments.
  2. Assisting clients with cloud security architecture, configuration standards, and risk mitigation approaches across Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud.
  3. Contributing to project workstreams, including technical assessments, solution designs, security recommendations, and implementation support.
  4. Assisting with the implementation and optimization of cloud security technologies, including cloud native application protection platform, cloud security posture management, cloud workload protection platform, identity and access management, security monitoring, and DevSecOps controls.
  5. Supporting practice development activities through research, solution development, knowledge sharing, and client service delivery.

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity, technology risk, or technology consulting.
  • 1+ years of experience designing, assessing, or implementing security solutions in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Oracle Cloud environments.
  • 1+ years of experience with cloud security architecture, control design, or cloud configuration standards.
  • 1+ years of experience with cloud native application protection platform, cloud security posture management, cloud workload protection platform, identity and access management, security monitoring, or DevSecOps controls.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, engineering, or another technical field.
  • Ability to travel 80%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Nice to have

  • Experience in consulting or professional services environments.
  • Experience with enterprise cloud transformation or migration programs.
  • Experience with cloud security assessments, security architecture reviews, or remediation planning.
  • Experience with security controls aligned to ISO 27001, National Institute of Standards and Technology Cybersecurity Framework, NIST Special Publication 800-53, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, or System and Organization Controls 2.
  • Experience with identity and access management, endpoint security, web application firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, or security information and event management platforms.
  • Cloud security or cloud platform certifications.
