F5 is seeking a Consultant to help protect a portfolio of Global 2000 web applications from malicious and automated attacks. The role involves defining solutions for implementing and integrating security services, collaborating with a team of specialists to integrate anti-automation and anti-fraud solutions with large-scale websites, and providing technical expertise to customers. The candidate will be responsible for design and implementation projects, establishing trusted technical advisor relationships, owning delivery of technical components, identifying technical risks, and contributing to process improvements and knowledge building.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leads and/or participates in design and implementation projects to deploy F5's Enterprise security solutions.
  2. Establish trusted technical advisor relationships with customers regarding web security.
  3. Own delivery of technical components for integration that includes website analysis, configurations, testing, debugging, documentation and go-live support.
  4. Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies.
  5. Collaborate with other teams in delivering a timely and qualitative technical solution to customers.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Networks, Information Systems, or a related engineering discipline OR equivalent industry work experience.
  • 5+ years of system integration in complex environments preferably in the software/cybersecurity industry.
  • 5+ years of experience providing Solutions engineering or professional services to large-scale enterprises.
  • Experience in a technical role involving web operations, incident response, customer support, system monitoring, or a similar role
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, Javascript, CSS and other technologies involved in delivering sophisticated web services.
  • Experience in configuring BIG-IP and iRules
  • Deep understanding of security frameworks, vulnerability management, WAFs, threat detection, and experience in Layer 3 networking (routing, switching, traffic analysis, troubleshooting).
  • Independent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
  • Experience working with cybersecurity solutions
