Visa is seeking a Consultant, Portfolio Manager to analyze new project requests, assess business value, facilitate prioritization, and assign resources effectively. The role involves tracking progress, adhering to policies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote, multicultural environment. Requires 5+ years of experience in program/project management within technology or financial services, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with engineering/product lifecycles. Technical background, cloud knowledge, and fintech experience are preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Analyze new project, feature, and change requests from stakeholders across the business using the end to end intake process for Portfolio assessment and planning.
  2. Assess incoming requests for business value, strategic alignment, urgency, and feasibility, facilitate prioritization discussions with portfolio leadership.
  3. Assign resources effectively across projects and initiatives, balancing capacity, skillsets, and business priorities.
  4. Serve as primary point of contact for request status, timelines, and resource availability, ensure transparent, timely updates to stakeholders.
  5. Contribute to tracking and reporting by maintaining up to date records on the dashboards and systems used by Portfolio to track progress of assessment and planning of new requests.

Skills

Required

  • Be based in Brazil
  • English Advanced (C1)
  • 5 or more years of experience in program management, project management or a related role within the technology or financial services sector
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical approach
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross functional teams and deliver in agile environments
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with engineering and product lifecycle processes
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, multicultural team environment

Nice to have

  • Technical background or strong technical literacy.
  • Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
  • Prior experience in fintech or payments ecosystems.
