Description Oracle is seeking a Senior Accessibility Engineer (508 SME) to ensure Section 508 compliance across an Enterprise Program Management (EPM) program. This role will lead VPAT documentation, accessibility testing, roadmap resolutions, and compliance implementation while collaborating with engineering teams to deliver accessible products and documents. The role requires strong communication with clients, ensuring accessibility needs are met throughout the program.
Qualifications:
5+ years in accessibility and document compliance.
Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1+, WAI-ARIA, Section 508, and ADA standards.
Experience with assistive technologies (VoiceOver, JAWS, NVDA, magnifiers, alternative input devices).
Proficient in aXe, ANDI, and other accessibility testing tools.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey technical issues and collaborate with clients.
Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira for issue tracking.
Serve as the primary 508 SME, ensuring accessibility compliance across all deliverables.
Analyze design and code, report accessibility issues, and provide remediation solutions.
Oversee VPAT documentation, accessibility testing, and roadmap resolutions.
Provide expert guidance, training, and mentorship on accessibility best practices.
Collaborate with engineering teams in an Agile environment to implement accessibility solutions.
Ensure compliance for Microsoft Word, PPTX, Excel, PDF, and other templates.
Promote an “accessibility-first” mindset and contribute to design standards and pattern libraries.
Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring their accessibility requirements are addressed.
Work with Federal and Commercial Clients to meet compliance requirements.
Provide expert guidance, training, and mentorship on accessibility best practices.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
