What you'd actually do

  1. Administer, extend, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts with management support
  2. Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications with management support
  3. Coordinate with functional teams and management to lead internal proposal approval process
  4. Advise program teams of contractual rights and obligations, including interpretation of contract terms and conditions
  5. Maintain and update contract documents and official program records, including contractual documents and correspondence

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in contract administration and management or related fields (i.e. compliance, legal, etc.) or Masters Degree plus a minimum of 1 year experience.
  • Advanced skills using MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of FAR /DFARS
  • Experience with various contract types such as Cost Reimbursable, Firm Fixed Price, etc.
  • Experience in U.S. Government Department of Defense contract administration / management
  • Experience using business, accounting, and financial systems (i.e. SAP)
