This role is for a Contract Administrator at Northrop Grumman, focusing on managing government and international contracts within the Targeting Systems Operating Unit. What you'd actually do

  1. Administer, extend, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts with management support
  2. Administer, extend, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard non disclosure agreements
  3. Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications with management support
  4. Coordinate with functional teams and management to lead internal proposal approval process
  5. Advise program teams of contractual rights and obligations, including interpretation of contract terms and conditions

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience in Government/International Contracts Management/Administration; or a Master’s degree plus 1 year of experience in Government/International Contracts Management/Administration
  • Advanced skills using MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance is required
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Nice to have

  • Experience with proposal development and negotiation
  • Experience with FAR and DFARS or other contracting laws/regulations
  • Experience with various contract types such as Cost Reimbursable, Firm Fixed Price, etc.
  • Experience in the defense industry
  • Experience working with internal and external customers, including customer service
