Contract Management Specialist (associate or Experienced)

This role is for a Contract Management Specialist at Boeing, supporting the USAF Mobility Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) team. The specialist will handle acquisition and execution activities for complex statements of work, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 15 contracting and non-sales agreements. Responsibilities include representing the company to customers, developing relationships, preparing and administering contracts, coordinating proposal development, and summarizing contractual issues. The role requires experience in business functions like Contracts, Finance, or Procurement, and experience drafting/negotiating contracts. Preferred qualifications include experience with FAR, DFARS, USG, and FMS contracts, and a Bachelor's Degree.

What you'd actually do

  1. Represents the company to a diverse set of customers
  2. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
  3. Prepares, negotiates, executes, interprets and administers legally binding contractual agreements of a complex nature for The Boeing Company utilizing the appropriate signature authority
  4. Coordinates proposal development activities across cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely proposal submissions
  5. Administers and interprets complex contracts and agreements during the entire acquisition and product lifecycle

Skills

Required

  • Willing to travel domestically as needed
  • 1+ years of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales)
  • 1+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • 1+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills
  • Experience working across different time zones
  • Experience working with Aircraft Programs
  • Experience working with FAR, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), Unites States Government (USG) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracts
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
