Northrop Grumman Australia is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to support the KC‑30A MRTT Through Life Support (TLS) program, a critical capability for the Royal Australian Air Force.
This role partners closely with the Program Manager to manage complex, multi‑million‑dollar sustainment contracts across the full lifecycle of the KC‑30A fleet, ensuring contractual compliance, value for money, and effective risk management. This is a hybrid role, based in Fortitude Valley, with regular weekly travel to Amberley to support program delivery and stakeholder engagement, or can be based at Amberley if preferred.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage and administer high‑value TLS contracts using ASDEFCON frameworks
- Lead and deliver Contract Change Proposals (CCPs) and Survey & Quote (S&Q) responses
- Provide commercial advice on sustainment, availability and long‑term support outcomes
- Support contract reviews, performance assessments and cost reviews
- Engage directly with Commonwealth stakeholders
- Identify, mitigate and manage contractual and commercial risk
- Support issue resolution and claims management where required
What we’re looking for
- Degree or diploma in Business, Contract Law or equivalent experience
- Proven experience managing multi‑million‑dollar defence contracts
- Strong knowledge of ASDEFCON and sustainment environments
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain AGSVA security clearance
- Willingness to travel weekly to Amberley
