GitLab is seeking a Contract Talent Acquisition Sourcer to build candidate pipelines for their sales team in the AMER region. What you'd actually do

  1. Source and engage passive candidates for sales roles across the AMER region using LinkedIn, online research, events, and other outbound channels.
  2. Build representative candidate pipelines with meaningful focus on identifying talent from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
  3. Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements, business priorities, and ideal candidate profiles.
  4. Map talent markets and gather intelligence on competitors, locations, and candidate pools to inform sourcing strategies.
  5. Assess candidate alignment for specific roles, teams, and GitLab's values, and share clear recommendations with recruiting partners.

Skills

Required

  • Relevant experience in recruiting and/or sourcing, including direct experience sourcing passive candidates in a fully outbound environment.
  • Experience sourcing for Account Executive and other sales roles, ideally within the software industry.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to identify, map, and engage talent across competitive regional and global markets.
  • Experience working directly with recruiters and hiring managers to align on hiring needs and adjust sourcing strategies as priorities change.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust across teams, candidates, and time zones.
  • Strong organization skills and comfort managing multiple searches, deadlines, and competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools. Experience with Greenhouse or LinkedIn Recruiter is ideal.
  • Comfort working remotely in an asynchronous environment, along with willingness to learn and use tools such as GitLab.
