This role is for a Contracts Administrator at Northrop Grumman, supporting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, close-out, and administration for defense contracts. What you'd actually do

  1. Act as the primary interface with the customer for contractual issues
  2. Monitor contract and associated program to ensure that contractual obligations are communicated and understood
  3. Participate in contract proposal preparation, contract negotiations, contract administration, and customer contract activities to manage assigned contracts in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
  4. Review terms and conditions to address provisions and risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification and all other potential risk areas and recommend risk mitigation strategies
  5. Prepare and manage written communications with internal and external customers for assigned contractual matters

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of contracts experience or equivalent
  • Experience in contracts, proposals, business management
  • Ability to manage classified and unclassified workloads
  • Active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements
  • Knowledge of multiple contract types
  • National Contracts Management Association (NCMA) Certification
  • Current, active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret/SCI security clearance
