What you'd actually do

  1. Create a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols
  2. Provide direction and oversight on the Risk Assessment Framework direction to Control Managers to support legal entity, compliance, and operational risk assessment deliverables
  3. Analyze CORE program related data (e.g., KRI/KPI) to support business-related programs and strategies
  4. Provide leadership support for the end-to-end execution of the Risk & Control Self-Assessment, to improve awareness, identify areas of opportunity, and provide highlights to drive progress across the organization
  5. Engage with control colleagues across the firm, business, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators, and technology control functions

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of financial service experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance
  • Proficient knowledge of control and risk management concepts with the ability to design, create, and evaluate a Risk & Control Self-Assessments
  • A curious, self-directed mindset that synthesizes information into practical actions and recommendations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including structured root-cause analysis and translating data into clear conclusions and remediation plans
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Nice to have

  • comfortable leveraging AI tools (e.g., LLM Suite) to improve productivity and analysis
