This role is a Senior Technology Manager for Conversational AI & Language Engineering, responsible for setting the technical vision, managing teams, and ensuring the long-term health and performance of machine learning capabilities for an employee-facing Virtual Assistant. The role involves owning the end-to-end technical strategy for language engineering, NLU, and conversational AI, establishing standards for model quality and evaluation, and leading a team of ML practitioners. A key aspect is transitioning a mature deterministic solution to leverage Generative and Agentic AI.

What you'd actually do

  1. Ensures that the design and engineering approach for complex features are consistent with the larger portfolio solution
  2. Define the technology tool stack for the solution and evaluate and adapt new testing tool/framework/practices for team(s)
  3. Enables team(s)/applications with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) capabilities and engages with other technical stakeholders pertaining to efficient functioning of CI-CD pipeline
  4. Provides end-to-end delivery of complex features, including automation, for either a single team or multiple teams, at the program level
  5. Own the end‑to‑end technical strategy for language engineering, NLU, and conversational AI across web, mobile, and voice channels.
