This is a Coordinator role for Outreach & Events at Netflix Animation Studios, focusing on organizing and managing internal and external events, recruiting efforts, and studio-wide celebrations. The role involves event planning, execution, outreach coordination, cross-functional collaboration, communication, and logistics management.

What you'd actually do

  1. Organize, facilitate, and manage all event details (decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, guest lists, special guests, equipment, promotional materials, etc.).
  2. Support outreach strategies by coordinating internal and external visits, portfolio critiques, conferences, festivals, academic events, workshops, and related initiatives. This includes planning and scheduling travel and accommodation logistics.
  3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as Corporate Events, Workplace, AV, Media, and Creative, to ensure seamless setup and execution of all on-site and off-site events and outreach initiatives.
  4. Manage invitations, calendars, and follow-up communications for all relevant events. Ensure timely and accurate information is provided to all stakeholders.
  5. Oversee inventory management, including swag, signage, and name badges, as well as general ordering. Assist with on-site event coordination and respond to emails in shared inboxes.

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of experience coordinating events, talent outreach, or production logistics, ideally within a feature animation or VFX studio, gaming company, or a fast-paced creative agency environment.
  • A strong passion for the animation landscape, with a foundational understanding of studio pipelines, artist workflows, and industry events/festivals.
  • Demonstrated organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple overlapping timelines seamlessly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, inclusive, and approachable tone.
  • Experience collaborating across various levels of an organization, building trust, and fostering teamwork.
  • A creative thinker with sharp attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable responding quickly to shifting priorities, new information, and evolving studio strategies.
  • Proficient with Google Drive/Workspace and modern event management or CRM tools, with strong attention to data accuracy.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 30%) and work occasional non-traditional hours based on event schedules.
