T-Mobile is seeking a Corporate Counsel specializing in Labor & Employment to provide legal counsel to business units and HR on employment and labor matters, focusing on the Retail line of business. The role involves managing pre-litigation and litigation, preparing legal documents, developing HR policies, delivering legal training, and advising on compliance and complex employment-related issues. Requires 2-4+ years of experience as an employment attorney and a strong understanding of litigation, discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims, with a preference for experience in arbitrations, international employment law, labor relations, or ERISA. Must be licensed to practice law in the US.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide practical, day-to-day, employment-law counseling to HR and other internal clients to identify and manage employment legal risks.
  2. Engage and work with outside counsel to manage employment litigation (primarily employment-law arbitrations) and administrative proceedings with a focus on creative strategies, cost reduction, and efficient resolutions.
  3. Prepare responses to agency charges and demand letters.
  4. Develop and review written HR policies, guidelines, templates, and forms.
  5. Develop and deliver legal training to HR and other internal clients.

  • Licensed to practice law in the US
