Boeing is seeking a Corporate Investigator (Principal Senior and Lead) to join their Corporate Investigations team. This role focuses on fraud investigations, including production, quality, safety, accounting, financial controls, information protection, and ethical business conduct. The investigator will lead and conduct investigations, develop investigative plans, gather and analyze evidence, assess credibility, draw conclusions, report findings, and make recommendations. Responsibilities include overseeing quality review, preparing investigative plans, gathering data, creating reports, briefing stakeholders, strengthening anti-retaliation efforts, and identifying remediation opportunities. The role also involves mentoring and training other investigators and developing new investigative tools and programs. Experience in corporate compliance, internal audit, or law enforcement is required, with preferred experience in employee-related investigations, production/quality/safety issues, and leading investigative teams. Familiarity with forensic tools and data analysis techniques is a plus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and conduct higher complexity investigations and evaluate compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  2. Oversee quality review and execution of investigations and case management activities at an enterprise level.
  3. Prepare investigative plans to spot issues, determine the investigative scope, and identify and employ needed resources (e.g. investigative databases, subject matter experts, computing forensics, etc.).
  4. Gather investigative data (e.g., witness testimony, electronic data, physical evidence) to assess the validity of allegations and determine the allocation of further investigative resources.
  5. Create investigative reports detailing the factual outcome of investigations.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 10+ years of experience conducting complex investigations and managing the investigative process including conducting interviews, collecting data and facts, and analyzing to identify trends and/or discrepancies, drafting reports, and briefing stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an investigative capacity or related role (corporate compliance, internal audit, law enforcement, or related investigative environment)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of experience conducting formal employee-related investigations
  • 5+ years of experience investigating matters including production, quality, and safety issues, labor mis-charging.
  • 5+ years of experience leading or mentoring investigative teams.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, JD, or related field)
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or other relevant compliance/investigative certifications.
  • Familiarity with forensic investigative tools and data analysis techniques.
  • Experience working in a global or multi-jurisdictional environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training related to investigations and compliance.
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations related to harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to fraud and workplace investigations.
