CrowdStrike is seeking a Corporate Sales Engineer to articulate the value of their AI-native cybersecurity platform, focusing on endpoint security solutions for SMB and Mid-Market segments. This role involves pre-sales and post-sales activities, working with sales teams to secure and grow business by demonstrating technical capabilities to customers.

What you'd actually do

  1. Be the expert in endpoint security space – eg. AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewall, HIPS/IDS, etc.
  2. Comprehensive understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
  3. Articulate basic security problems to a set of audiences
  4. Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently
  5. Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering; the Sales Engineer should be the technical bridge between CrowdStrike and prospects/customers
  6. Conduct demonstrations and proof of values with the ability to present technical concepts to a variety of external audiences up to C-level executives
  7. Effective time management and organizational skills a must

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical studies
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in IT, security, system engineering/administration, or sales engineering
  • Knowledge of malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis.
  • Ability to write and modify basic scripts.
  • Experience with virtualization/VDI technologies
  • Experience with large scale cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
  • Proficient understanding of Active Directory
  • Customer facing experience
