This role is for a Corporate Solutions Engineer at Postman, a leading API platform company. The primary focus is on supporting the sales team, nurturing customer relationships, and guiding users in leveraging the Postman platform for their API lifecycle. Responsibilities include conducting technical demos, handling technical questions, producing collateral, understanding customer workflows, and acting as a technical intermediary. The role requires experience in corporate sales, software development, and API platforms, with a strong understanding of modern development methodologies and the SaaS sales process.

What you'd actually do

  1. Help drive sales by nurturing prospects & supporting customers in our corporate market
  2. Conduct discovery, qualification, technical demos, & proof of value workshops with prospective customers looking to embrace Postman for their API lifecycle
  3. Handle Postman technical questions or objections & provide solutions or workarounds to address customer needs
  4. Produce reusable collateral that can be distributed to help our prospective customers understand how to adopt API-first practices with Postman.
  5. Understand deeply our customer workflows today & how they can adopt API-first development best practices
