This role is for a Director of Corporate Strategy at Expedia Group. The primary responsibilities involve supporting enterprise-level strategy, long-range planning, and leading high-priority strategic initiatives. The role requires advising senior leadership, shaping the company's long-term direction, and ensuring consistency in strategy execution. Key activities include supporting strategic planning processes, defining enterprise strategy, leading workstreams for strategic projects, structuring complex problems, partnering with business units, conducting market/competitor/customer research, exploring new business lines, synthesizing insights, and preparing executive/board-facing materials.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support and help lead the annual and long‑range strategic planning processes in partnership with Finance and business leaders.
  2. Help define and refine Expedia Group’s enterprise strategy and ambition, including where we focus (markets, business lines, customer segments) and how we differentiate.
  3. Lead end‑to‑end workstreams for high priority strategic projects, from problem definition and development through analysis, recommendations, and execution support.
  4. Structure complex, ambiguous problems into clear workplans, and manage cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes.
  5. Partner with business units and functional leaders to translate strategic choices into clear roadmaps, goals, and success metrics.
