This role is for a Counsel, Global Supply Chain at CoreWeave, an AI cloud company. The role involves providing legal support for sourcing, procurement, and deployment of infrastructure like GPUs, servers, and data center equipment. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating complex agreements, advising on legal and regulatory issues, managing outside counsel, and developing contracting processes. The role requires a JD, active bar membership, and 5+ years of legal experience in commercial transactions, particularly in technology infrastructure or supply chain agreements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support datacenter supply chain, including by structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex agreements with suppliers for the procurement of GPU and compute hardware, integrated server systems, network equipment, datacenter infrastructure and power equipment, storage solutions, and logistics services.
  2. Support indirect procurement contracting for business groups across the company.
  3. Provide day-to-day, business-focused counseling, including on supply chain continuity, risk allocation, supplier risk assessments, supplier performance and remediation matters, product quality, service, and remedies aligned with CoreWeave’s deployment and financing models.
  4. Partner with regulatory, ESG, government affairs, compliance, and others on responsible sourcing and compliance topics and ensure contract terms reflect those obligations.
  5. Support international expansion by adapting supply and logistics documentation for new jurisdictions and coordinating with local counsel on local-law and market-norm issues.

Skills

Required

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • 5+ years of legal experience
  • significant time focused on complex commercial transactions at a law firm or in-house legal team
  • Strong business acumen
  • meaningful experience drafting and negotiating technology infrastructure, hardware, or supply-chain agreements
  • Proven record of pragmatic, solutions-oriented counseling for senior business leaders in a demanding, high-growth, fast-paced environment
  • sound judgment on balancing risk with agility to deliver outcomes with aggressive timelines

Nice to have

  • In-house experience supporting cloud, data center, semiconductor, hardware, or similar large-scale infrastructure businesses
  • Exposure to global logistics and trade controls, sanctions, and hardware environmental compliance
  • Experience building or operating contracting playbooks, templates, and processes for sourcing or procurement organizations
  • Knowledge of international trade, hardware regulatory requirements, and other compliance issues and structures pertaining to global supply chains
