Lyft is seeking a Counsel, Product & Commercial to focus on commercial contracts related to autonomous vehicles and consumer-focused partnerships. The role involves reviewing, drafting, and negotiating complex transactions, providing strategic legal and business advice, and managing a high volume of contracts in a fast-paced environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of complex, product-focused commercial contracts in support of Lyft’s Autonomous Vehicles and Partnerships Teams
  2. Provide strategic legal and business advice to bring a long-term, product and customer-focused perspective to contract discussions
  3. Provide ongoing guidance to cross functional teams regarding contractual requirements, including implications for product implementation and strategy
  4. Understand and advance Lyft’s priorities by connecting issues across business leaders and subject matter experts to develop and drive comprehensive, long-term legal strategies that balance risk and business objectives
  5. Prioritize workload to set goals and meet deadlines in a fluctuating and sometimes ambiguous business environment
