What you'd actually do

  1. Monitor exposures for JPM legal entities in EMEA and provide explanations for significant exposure changes
  2. Support the team’s contributions to ICAAP processes, including capital stress testing, designing stress scenarios, and calculating capital add-ons (Pillar 2 assessment of risks not covered by Pillar 1)
  3. Assist the team in completing regulator-mandated counterparty risk stress testing exercises
  4. Monitor portfolio exposures against established thresholds for JPM legal entities in EMEA
  5. Contribute to any thematic analysis in response to market events

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance and/or Economics
  • Proficiency with MS Excel
  • familiarity with Bloomberg
  • Proficiency in Python programming
  • data visualization tools such as Tableau and Alteryx
  • Good understanding of derivatives (bilateral and cleared), Futures and Options, Margin Lending and Securities Financing products
  • Adept at using LLM capabilities to drive efficiency
  • Understanding of concepts relating to CCR exposures, PFE, wrong-way risk, risk sensitivity and stress testing across asset classes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in market and/or counterparty credit risk, particularly with a focus on margin, collateral, or exposure metrics
  • Knowledge of capital rules for CCR (IMM and SA-CCR)
