Country Director for Innovative Medicine in the Czech Republic, responsible for leading the organization to achieve customer interaction excellence, commercial success, and sustainable growth. What you'd actually do

  1. Leads and manages the IM organization in the Czech Republic to ensure Customer Interaction Excellence and commercial success, with strong short‑, mid‑, and long‑term performance across key market segments.
  2. Drives the Debate with institutional stakeholders to secure both short‑ and long‑term access to innovation; leads activities with trade associations, patient organizations, and key opinion leaders.
  3. Holds responsibility for the IM business in the Czech Republic, ensuring full compliance with ethical, regulatory, and legal requirements.
  4. Builds a strong and diverse pipeline of future leaders; ensures alignment of talent strategy with current and future business needs.
  5. Implements corporate strategies and business processes while developing a fit‑for‑purpose local strategy aligned with regional guidance.

Skills

Required

  • Strong track record of success in comparable senior leadership roles
  • 10+ years of management experience with P&L responsibility, team development, and leading through influence.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including market access, HEMAR, and experience across multiple therapeutic areas.
  • Proven ability to navigate external stakeholder landscapes, lead transformation, manage crises, and deliver strong competitive outcomes.
  • High strategic thinking capability, strong commercial acumen, openness to innovation, and excellent communication skills.
  • Result‑oriented mindset with a strong sense of urgency; collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Ability to act with courage and promote a compliance‑focused culture.
  • Broad business understanding gained through cross‑functional experience, strategic thinking, and ability to create innovative and impactful strategies.
  • Strong communication capabilities and the ability to inspire followership across the organization.
