This role is for a CPQ Lead responsible for the vision, strategy, and execution of Vanta's Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) ecosystem. The role involves building and optimizing CPQ processes, automations, and integrations with Salesforce and other GTM tools to support sales, expansion, and renewal of customer relationships. It requires strong expertise in Salesforce, CPQ solutions, and end-to-end GTM processes, with a focus on scalability, accuracy, and user experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the primary owner and expert for the CPQ ecosystem, ensuring accurate configuration of products, pricing, quoting, amendments, renewals, and approval workflows.
  2. Design and build Salesforce solutions (Flows, validations, custom objects, automation) to support CPQ processes.
  3. Build and optimize automated quoting, approval, and contracting workflows that reduce manual effort, cycle time, and error rates.
  4. Own and maintain deal approval logic, including discounting, non-standard terms, and exception handling, leveraging Salesforce and Approvals Pro.
  5. Contribute to the end-to-end CPQ strategy, vision, and multi-quarter roadmap aligned with Vanta’s GTM and product growth goals.

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and a CPQ solution (Nue/DealHub Preferred), including complex product catalogs, pricing models, and approval workflows.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end GTM processes, including quoting, renewals, amendments, discounting, and contracting.
  • Proven ability to create and execute a CPQ roadmap aligned with business strategy and operational needs.
