Student worker role focused on pre-silicon verification of CPU IP for Intel's next-generation CPU cores. Responsibilities include developing test plans, creating simulation components, debugging digital simulations, and ensuring functional coverage. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field with at least one year remaining, and experience in digital design, ASIC flow, computer architecture, programming languages, and hardware description languages.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assist on developing of pre-Si validation test plans and test scenarios to prove the correctness of the design
  2. Development of components for a simulation-based environment: BFMs, trackers, checkers, scoreboards, and testbenches
  3. Performing and debugging digital simulations, and driving to closure of bugs
  4. Development of functional coverage and achieving coverage goals
  5. Working closely with design engineers, micro-architects, and other team members to ensure high quality of test plans, functional coverage, and tests
