This role focuses on the physical design and process technology for Intel's High Performance Processor (P-Core) CPUs. Responsibilities include synthesis, place and route, timing analysis, power optimization, and developing physical design methodologies using industry EDA tools.

What you'd actually do

  1. focus on process and construction technology to build best in-class products across P-core CPUs.
  2. The group makes use of state of the art VLSI design tools and methods, while performing deep analysis to predict and optimize the product power, area and Freq.
  3. Work on cutting edge Process technologies and analysis from device to APR level, frequency-power optimization, STA and PVT's, Clock distribution and quality, Power Grid planning.
  4. Conduct all aspects of the physical design flow including synthesis, place and route, clock tree synthesis, floor planning, static timing analysis, power/clock distribution and power analysis.
  5. Deep analyze results and make recommendations for current and future process needs.

Skills

Required

  • BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering
  • 1+ years of experience in BE Design using industry EDA tools
  • TCL
