Creative Coder

Meta Meta · Big Tech · Los Angeles, CA +2

Meta's Creative Audio team is seeking a Creative Coder to collaborate with Engineering and Product Design on advanced audio systems for various products (phone, VR, AR). The role involves developing prototypes, optimizing performance, and leveraging AI tools like LLMs and prompt engineering to create innovative audio experiences. Responsibilities include building AI audio pipelines, integrating generative sound/music, speech synthesis, and RAG methodologies, while adhering to ethical AI practices and potentially using agent orchestration.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to deliver state of the art audio functionality, tooling and pipeline solutions
  2. Provide audio engineering guidance to partners with a focus on empowering sound designers, composers, and ultimately creators, and improving audio quality across all Meta products and platforms
  3. Use creativity and product thinking to develop innovative audio-focused prototypes and experiences that drive team and company success
  4. Build functional prototypes from early concepts across a range of prototype fidelities, using a variety of design tools and programming languages, and implement on multiple platforms
  5. Drive audio specific features from a technical perspective, ensuring scalability and high performance quality
