Creative Manager-game

ByteDance ByteDance · Big Tech · Seattle, WA · Design

Creative Manager for game publishing at ByteDance's ONE Studio, focusing on developing and overseeing creative direction for publishing materials (PVs, KVs, store assets) for global markets, aligning with player preferences and brand positioning.

What you'd actually do

  1. Anchor to the preferences and aesthetics of players across regions (North America, Europe, Japan, Southeast Asia, etc.), and develop creative directions for publishing materials that align with the brand’s positioning.
  2. Oversee the quality of all creative outputs: maintain a consistent visual style to foster stable brand recognition among players, while ensuring compliance with global market standards (including cultural sensitivity and platform requirements).
  3. Lead the creative conceptualization of core publishing materials and engage deeply in creative execution: refine storyboards to enhance the narrative appeal of PVs (Promotional Videos), define visual styles to captivate players’ attention with KVs (Key Visuals), and adjust color schemes and copy to align with players’ context.
  4. Prioritize player appeal and resonance as the core creative goal for publishing materials: develop a thorough understanding of players to formulate creative solutions that resonate with their preferences and expectations.
  5. Analyze player insights to identify unmet player needs, and integrate aesthetic standards to drive creative production—ensuring outputs balance artistic quality with player-centric relevance.
