State Farm is seeking a Creative Strategist to lead the development and execution of social media campaigns. This role involves understanding social media trends, developing creative concepts, providing feedback on content, and publishing approved content across platforms. The strategist will collaborate with cross-functional teams and agencies to ensure brand alignment and drive engagement.

What you'd actually do

  1. Operates as the general leader of all campaign social creative development across all social platforms.
  2. Works cross-functionally to determine campaigns’ creative social media needs.
  3. Leads the social media creative review process by: Providing creative feedback and guidance to all internal and external creative partners, keeping the work on strategy and creatively inspired.
  4. Ensuring appropriate State Farm audiences review materials—briefs, concepts, works in progress, and final deliverables—at the right time.
  5. Publishes approved content across all social platforms.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
  • 5 years Agency and/or client-side experience managing creative development
  • Deep understanding of existing and emerging platforms
  • Ability to develop content that resonates in-feed
  • Demonstrated history of developing comprehensive social media content plans (including paid) across multiple platforms, accounts and stakeholders
  • Strong eye for quality and alignment to brand voice
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback on content and campaigns
  • Experience collaborating and effectively managing numerous internal and external stakeholder groups related to creative development
  • Experience working with talent, including influencers and celebrities
  • Strong ability to influence and build relationships, internally and externally
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize & multi-task under shifting deadlines and needs within a fast-paced, high-profile environment

Nice to have

  • Experience in a matrix environment
  • Experience in Sports Marketing and social media creation
  • Experience working with Social Media tools i.e. Sprout, Opal, Hootsuite
  • Photography, video-editing, and motion graphics experience
