Credit Manager II - Valuation/equipment Management Group

Directs the Equipment Management Group (EMG) Valuation team, providing valuations for new and existing Leasing transactions, setting Residual Values (RV), and assessing recoverability of RVs in the existing portfolio. Sets direction, policies, and guidelines to maximize team efficiency and meet business needs.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leads a team of valuation professionals, optimizing knowledge of equipment markets and applying market intelligence to risk/return parameters of new transactions; evaluates new target markets and supports analysis, winning, and management of new equipment investment opportunities
  2. Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external customers to support the growth of the Leasing portfolio; demonstrates knowledge of a wide range of equipment types and markets, including Trucking, Mining and Construction, Rail, Materials Handling, Warehouse Equipment, Energy, Marine, and Manufacturing
  3. Manages the evaluation process for a high volume of assets and transactions across diverse equipment types (excluding aircraft), ensuring adherence to EMG policies, procedures, controls, and analytical principles
  4. Demonstrates deep process knowledge, operational excellence and innovation through a focus on simplicity, data-based decision making and continuous improvement
  5. Ensures proper risk discipline, controls and culture are in place to identify, escalate and debate issues

  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing professionals within a risk, credit, valuation, or asset management environment
