Credit Review Senior Portfolio Specialist

This role focuses on credit risk management within a financial institution, involving portfolio monitoring, transaction testing, and issue management. It also includes a component of process improvement and exploring the incorporation of AI-enabled tools and data analytics to enhance existing processes and assurance capabilities.

What you'd actually do

  1. Participates in exam activities and/or periodically serves as an Examiner-in-Charge , Assistant Examiner-in-Charge or Examiner
  2. Performs transactional testing of credit process execution for new and existing clients, providing direct and timely feedback on transactional reviews
  3. Provides assistance on portfolio reporting as needed and engages in stakeholder discussions alongside the Portfolio Manager
  4. Tracks and follows observations from exams and testing
  5. Provides regulator updates on results, and responds to inquiries

  • Extensive commercial credit-related experience, including experience in credit risk management, lending and/or regulatory agencies
