This role supports the credit process within Bank of America's Global Wealth & Investment Management division. Responsibilities include monitoring financial reporting, client onboarding, risk management through collateral exception clearing, and deal coordination. The role requires experience with credit policies, MS Office proficiency, and strong organizational and communication skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Engages with team members to support partnership with teams to manage the bank's portfolio via monitoring financial package collection, maturities, annual reviews/financial analysis summaries, past due payments, and failed covenants
  2. Assists in resolving client needs such as ordering pay-off letters
  3. Assists in risk management by clearing collateral exceptions to reduce the bank's legally binding exposure
  4. Engages in timely and accurate deal coordination through engaging outside counsel to prepare loan documentation, assisting with the completion of pre-close checklists, and connecting with fulfillment to book facilities in the system of record

Skills

Required

  • 12+ months of experience with a working knowledge of financial institutions’ credit policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Proficiency with MS Office Applications with emphasis on Excel and Word
  • Well organized and able to work independently with minimal management oversight
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Prioritize numerous time sensitive and business critical activities
  • Ability to build partnerships across the organization
