Cto - Agentic Process Automation & Intelligence

Salesforce Salesforce · Enterprise · Washington, DC · Remote

The Field CTO will lead the technical vision for strategic global accounts, focusing on expanding Agentforce for Supply Chain and the broader Agentic Process Automation suite. This role involves bridging legacy systems with autonomous intelligence, acting as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, and translating complex agentic process automation into scalable business outcomes. Responsibilities include architecting the "Agentic Stack", partnering with product and engineering, designing frameworks for navigating IT landscapes, providing high-stakes technical advisory, leading value engineering and prototyping, and acting as a bridge between field requirements and product development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Architecting the "Agentic Stack": Define how autonomous agents interact with LLMs, legacy ERPs (SAP, Oracle), and human-in-the-loop workflows. Ensure adoption aligns with the customer’s broader enterprise architecture and digital transformation roadmap.
  2. Product & Engineering Partnership: Partner with the GM and Product Management to ensure the roadmap is built for "Day 2" enterprise operations. Serve as the final escalation point for complex engineering challenges regarding concurrency, data privacy, and global compliance.
  3. Enterprise Connective Tissue: Design the framework for Agentforce to navigate fragmented IT landscapes. Ensure the architecture meets the highest standards for AI ethics, data residency, and residency requirements across Supply Chain, FINS, and TMT.
  4. High-Stakes Technical Advisory: Serve as a strategic advisor to CIO, CTO, and Enterprise Architects at our largest accounts. Lead architectural engagements that translate business strategies into technical enablers for desired outcomes.
  5. Value Engineering & Prototyping: Lead rapid prototyping for first-of-a-kind capabilities. Develop business cases that link technical agentic reasoning to tangible ROI and measurable business value.
