What you'd actually do

  2. Advocate AI for security and security for AI. Build technical relationships through technology advocacy, bid responses, and point of contact, while partnering with product management to shape Google Cloud security solutions.
  3. Demonstrate and prototype advanced security integrations, focusing on modern SecOps and threat intelligence, within complex customer and partner environments.
  4. Design and recommend comprehensive integration strategies and AI-ready infrastructures required to implement Google Cloud security solutions.
  5. Serve as a thought leader at industry conferences and customer sites, articulating Google’s goal for security in the age of AI.

Skills

Required

  • 10 years of experience in a customer-facing sales engineering, technical architecture, or trusted advisor role focusing on enterprise security or cloud-native architecture.
  • Experience in engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders (e.g., CISOs, CIOs).
  • Experience in cybersecurity operations, specifically with SecOps (SIEM/SOAR) and threat intelligence, and domains like threat detection, malware intelligence, or cloud security posture management.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently to interact with local stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a technical field.
  • Certificated in the Cloud or Security industry.
  • Experience implementing complex enterprise security solutions (e.g., advanced threat hunting, zero trust architectures, identity and access management systems).
  • Experience working with, evaluating, or securing AI agents, generative AI models, or Large Language Model (LLM) driven applications in an enterprise context.
  • Deep knowledge of product and solution market trends in the cybersecurity industry (e.g., ransomware, MITRE ATT&CK frameworks, Agentic SOC, etc.).
