The Customer Solutions Manager (CSM) for AWS's Aerospace & Satellite team advises aerospace and satellite organizations on cloud adoption and AI transformation. The role involves guiding customers through multi-year cloud adoption, migration, modernization, and AI transformation initiatives, focusing on deploying agentic AI workflows, building generative AI assistants, modernizing telemetry and command platforms, and accelerating launch readiness with intelligent automation. The CSM acts as a trusted advisor and central connector between customers and AWS teams, driving execution and identifying opportunities for AI/ML capabilities in space data processing and autonomous operations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own & Influence: Lead customer engagements end-to-end across Sales, Support, Solutions Architecture, Professional Services, and customer teams to deliver measurable business outcomes for aerospace and satellite organizations:
  2. Drive Adoption: Develop and execute cloud adoption roadmaps aligned with customer business milestones — such as constellation deployments, launch campaigns, or new service offerings — translating strategic initiatives into concrete, sequenced actions
  3. Accelerate Value: Identify opportunities for large-scale migrations, data & analytics, generative AI, agentic AI, and modernization that advance space missions and operational efficiency — from intelligent satellite imagery processing to autonomous ground system operations agents
  4. Enable & Govern: Design education programs, AI readiness assessments, governance frameworks, and executive briefing sessions that prepare aerospace customers for responsible AI adoption, successful cloud transformation, and long-term operational excellence
  5. Advocate & Coach: Serve as the customer's cloud coach and their voice within AWS, communicating customer needs to AWS leadership, product, and engineering teams — including AWS Ground Station and aerospace-specific service teams
