This role is for a Customer Success Manager at AWS, focusing on helping Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) transform their businesses using cloud and AI technologies. The CSM will guide customers through adoption, migration, and achieving business outcomes by connecting them with AWS expertise and programs. The role requires understanding cloud and AI concepts to advise clients on strategy, governance, and adoption of generative AI and agentic capabilities.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the success of a portfolio of ISV accounts, working backwards from each customer's strategic milestones to define and execute a clear path to value realization
  2. Lead roadmap-to-outcome alignment sessions, Executive Briefing Sessions, and go-live milestones that accelerate each customer's cloud and AI journey
  3. Help ISVs build the governance, operating models, and data infrastructure needed to sustain long-term transformation, not just hit short-term milestones
  4. Support customers in adopting generative AI and agentic capabilities that are reshaping how software is built, delivered, and monetized
  5. Serve as the connective tissue between ISV customers and AWS teams (Sales, Solutions Architecture, Support, Professional Services, and Partner teams) ensuring coordinated, high-quality engagement

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of leading large-scale, technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion experience
  • Experience in customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies
  • Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud

Nice to have

  • AWS certification, such as, AWS Solutions Architect, or a similar cloud certification, or Cloud Technology Certification
