Customer Support Engineer-level 1

This role provides technical support for Celonis's Process Intelligence Platform, focusing on analyzing and resolving complex customer issues. It involves collaboration with Product and Engineering teams and requires knowledge of IT systems, databases, and cloud platforms. The role is part of a 3-level support model and contributes to continuous improvement of support services.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide in-depth technical support for customer issues across one or more product areas of the Celonis Platform
  2. Drive and resolve complex Tickets according to ITSM processes
  3. Qualify problems or defects for close collaboration with Celonis Development and Product Management
  4. Participate and drive regular Root Cause Analysis (RCA) cycles to improve our Support Knowledge base
  5. Contribute to Continual Service Improvement (CSI) cycles and initiatives of Celonis and Celonis Support Organisation

Skills

Required

  • IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar education
  • Technical Support Engineer experience
  • Heterogeneous Linux/Unix systems knowledge
  • Structured approach to analyze and resolve issues
  • Customer contact experience, communication and service-oriented

Nice to have

  • SSO, JKS, Docker, Kubernetes, Datadog, Python, Java
  • Database systems and SQL experience
  • AWS and / or MS Azure experience
