Boeing is seeking an ESM Systems Specialist in Oklahoma City, OK, to develop training for the Electronic Warfare (EW) Suite. Responsibilities include managing software and data, operating the ESM subsystem, ensuring data integrity, and troubleshooting system malfunctions. The role requires technical expertise in EW/ESM systems, data literacy, analytical skills, and instructor/evaluator experience. A U.S. SECRET Security Clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage software configurations and baseline updates for the ESM system.
  2. Execute the secure upload and download of mission data sets and library information.
  3. Interpret, manipulate, and analyze complex data structures and system coding.
  4. Support the analysis of intelligence reports in support of mission data development, testing and generation
  5. Support EW system models to build/update and service national EW databases

Skills

Required

  • Electronic Warfare (EW) or ESM system operations
  • Ability to work with technical coding, data protocols, and software configuration management tools
  • Strong ability to interpret signal data and recognize technical patterns or system anomalies
  • Ability to analyze problems, conduct research, and summarize findings
  • Skilled in technical reporting and cross-agency coordination
  • Ability to support analysis across several technical disciplines
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Instructor/Evaluator experience and understanding of ISD principles

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of experience in Electronic Warfare (EW) systems and operations
  • Experience in system level development, requirements definition, analysis, and risk mitigation for EW systems applications
  • Familiarity with development and collaboration tools such as JIRA
  • Experience analyzing, designing, and integrating ground based ELINT and EW systems
  • Strong knowledge of ELINT systems and subsystems specifications
  • Previous experience entering and updating, maintaining, and extracting data from source databases
  • Experience with MATLAB, Python, and other ESM software tools
  • Understanding of engineering architecture and design concepts along with basic understanding of the engineering practices and procedures required to develop, text, and deploy EW systems
  • Experience with Intel sources such as Common Emitter Database (CED) and Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB)
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative solutions
  • Experience working with government and military customers
  • Presentation and communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines
