This role is for a CWS Contracts Senior Administrator at Deloitte, focusing on managing federal client contracts and procurement. The responsibilities include recommending procurement strategies, executing end-to-end contractor procurement and onboarding, managing a portfolio of engagements, conducting workforce forecasting, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations like FAR. What you'd actually do

  1. Explain the contractor procurement process to stakeholders, including why controls and steps exist.
  2. Set expectations on bill rates, timelines, risks, and common procurement challenges.
  3. Manage a portfolio of engagements; recommend sourcing approaches such as adding vendors, adjusting sourcing channels, and improving fulfillment outcomes.
  4. Conduct workforce forecasting with engagement teams using technology (e.g., tracking cycle time, fulfillment, rate trends, and vendor responsiveness) to drive better sourcing and planning decisions.
  5. Lead vendor conversations to address delivery constraints and recommend process and performance improvements.

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years of relevant experience as a contracts/subcontracts administrator (or equivalent procurement administration experience).
  • 2+ years of experience with contractual and regulatory requirements (e.g., FAR, DFARS, AIDAR) to ensure compliant procurement activity aligned to policy and procedure.
  • 2+ years of experience with Federal procurement/contracting regulations and the procurement lifecycle.
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of the Federal acquisition lifecycle.
  • Experience using Deltek Costpoint.
  • Familiarity using AI tools in an enterprise environment (with appropriate governance).
  • Strong prioritization and ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-moving environment.
