Cyber Network Security Architecture – Senior Consultant

This role focuses on assessing, designing, and implementing network security solutions for clients across enterprise and cloud environments. It involves working with cross-functional teams to address cyber risks, strengthen technical architectures, and support transformation initiatives. The role requires experience in network security, cybersecurity engineering, and securing cloud environments, as well as familiarity with specific security platforms.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assessing network security architectures, controls, and configurations across on-premises and cloud environments
  2. Designing and implementing network security solutions, including firewalls, virtual private networks, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and segmentation controls
  3. Translating business, risk, and compliance requirements into technical security designs and implementation plans
  4. Supporting client workshops, security assessments, remediation planning, and project deliverables
  5. Coordinating with technical and business stakeholders to manage workstreams, track milestones, and report progress

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or another technical field
  • 4+ years of experience in network security, cybersecurity engineering, or infrastructure security
  • 3+ years of experience designing and implementing firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, virtual private networks, and network segmentation controls
  • 2+ years of experience securing Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform network environments
  • 2+ years of experience with one or more of the following: Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Fortinet, or Check Point security platforms
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average

  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer
