Cyber Security Education Program Manager

Canva Canva · Enterprise · Sydney, Australia · Administrative

This role is a cross between a security educator and a program manager, focusing on people-centric security. The individual will lead consulting and education engagements with business teams to identify and address security risks, and will own and shape the Security Champions program. The role involves designing and delivering security trainings, creating communication formats for knowledge sharing, and building security processes. It requires strong communication skills, an understanding of cyber security risk, and experience in implementing processes and driving projects through stakeholder buy-in.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead ad-hoc security consulting engagements with business teams (e.g. Finance, Marketing, GenAI) to identify risks and implement practical, people-centred solutions

  3. Design, deliver, and maintain security trainings and education content tailored to different audiences and learning styles
  4. Create and maintain communication formats focused on knowledge sharing – from all-hands presentations to async modules
  5. Build and refine security processes and standards that address the needs of the broader business
